Show-offs - striking performances from the animal kingdom

The greediest eater, the hottest fart, the biggest bite, the longest neck. In comparison to human beings, animals can move faster, smell better, carry more weight and drink more water. Animals don’t do that to be the strongest, but because it increases their chances of survival. In nature, the one that best adapts to the prevailing circumstances survives.

This exhibition presents several ‘show-offs’ from the animal kingdom - from the tiny bombardier beetle, to the reconstructed skull of an extinct sperm whale, sporting the biggest teeth known to science.

The exhibition lasted until 14 February 2022.
